Job summary

Aalo Atomics is hiring a Fall 2026 Field Engineering Intern to join the Field Operations team in Austin, TX. This 12–16 week term offers hands-on exposure to manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and operation of Aalo projects, with daily mentorship on the shop floor and in the field.

The role requires a completed Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, mobility for travel, and the ability to work full-time on-site in Austin for the duration.

Qualifications

• Growth mindset and positive attitude.
• Completed Bachelors in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (or closely related field).
• Air travel compliant form of ID and valid Driver's License.
• Physically fit for duty – capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods of time while wearing PPE.
• Able to work full‑time, on‑site in Austin, TX, for at least 12 consecutive weeks.
• Able to Travel to out of state locations in the continental U.S. for up to two weeks at a time.
• Must provide own housing and daily transportation to the Austin facility; on‑site parking is available.
• Some tasks involve standing, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25lbs while wearing PPE.
• Basic familiarity with powered and manual tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research and logistics for special projects.
• Travel on-site to support operations.
• Work with design engineers and manufacturing on realizing designs in the shop and in the field.
