Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking an Office Engineer Intern / Field Intern for a hands-on construction management internship.

You will participate in field activities, learn project planning, and support cost control and scheduling tasks during the summer. The role requires pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering or construction management, travel/relocation as needed, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Ability to access construction sites in varied climates and environments.
• Strong ethics, integrity and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and quantity tracking.
• Procurement, contract administration, and on-site supervision.
• Reviewing plans and specifications to determine material requirements and pricing.
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintaining accurate records of job progress and costs.
