Advanced Infrastructure Design in central New Jersey is seeking a Field Engineering Assistant to support geophysical utility locating and subsurface assessment. The role combines fieldwork with office tasks, preparing sketches, spreadsheets, and reports under the supervision of a senior engineer.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in engineering or geotechnical fields; proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong communication and organization; ability to lift 50 lb; and willingness to

Competenze

Associate degrees in engineering, geotechnical or physics fields.
Proficiency of AutoCAD and basic knowledge of Civil 3D.
Proficiency in computer and MS Office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Able to carry 50 Ib of equipment.

Mansioni

Geophysical/electronic location and designation of subsurface utilities using surface geophysical equipment.
Prepare sketches, spreadsheets, and written reports; present findings on CAD maps/plans.
Assist in proposal and invoice preparation; interpret field data with geophysical software.
Work mostly under supervision of a senior engineer; possible day/night shifts and some weekends.
