Advanced Infrastructure Design, Inc. (AID) in Hamilton, NJ, is seeking a Field Engineering Assistant. This full-time, on-site role involves geophysical/electronic subsurface utility location, data interpretation, and CAD map reporting, with field and office duties under a senior engineer's supervision.

Occasional weekends may be required. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in engineering/geotechnical/physics, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong communication and

Competenze

• Associate degrees in engineering, geotechnical or physics fields.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in computer and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Able to carry 50 lb of equipment.

Mansioni

• Field work: locate/utilities using RF locators and GPR, document findings.
• Prepare sketches, spreadsheets and written reports; present findings on CAD maps/plans.
• Assist in proposal and invoice preparation; interpret field data with geophysical software.
• Work under supervision of a senior engineer; occasional weekend work may be required.
• Contribute to other areas of NDT and surveying as needed.
