Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Upstream Chemical Field Engineer to work in the field with our customers, interfacing between on-site teams and clients. You will help ensure production chemicals are recommended, applied, monitored, and optimized, delivering reliable, high-quality support.

The role requires a engineering degree, US work authorization, and strong communication, leadership, and data-analysis skills. Flexible work patterns and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field within the last 36 months.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to guide others.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, numerical skills, data analysis, and PM abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with crew members to deploy tools and services and liaise with customers and Operations Managers.
• Help solve complex technical problems through hands-on work at the site.
• Prepare, document, and receive outbound/inbound equipment and products.
• Support tenders with data analysis, cost estimates, and invoicing activities.
• Engage in job shadowing to develop understanding of the business.
