Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Field Engineer to help facilitate project delivery and administrative requirements through effective day-to-day coordination of projects. You may travel up to 25% and work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients to ensure project success.

You will assist with document control, RFI handling, submittals, and bid-package planning while maintaining current construction documentation and related logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of construction experience or a construction graduate.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project close-out/operation and maintenance manuals for delivery to owner.
• Assist Project Managers with coordinating document control and RFI/submittal processes.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure timely information flow.
• Support day-to-day project management including pay requests, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Maintain logs for RFI, submittals, and contract documents.
