Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to support large, complex clients across its range of products and services. The role involves server and storage break/fix, VIP deskside support, and high-level installations for storage and network devices.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for an Associate Degree or technical certification. The role is based in Columbia, SC and is on-site.

Responsibilities

Serve as Field Engineer for large, complex clients across company products and services.
Perform server and storage break and fix tasks.
Provide VIP deskside support activities.
Use advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and perform high-level installations on storage and network devices.
Apply deep hardware, software, and OS understanding to address escalated issues.
Test and certify mainframes, servers and related network infrastructure.
