Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 0 to 8–12 months of field engineer/coordinator experience; internships may count.
• Knowledge of construction specifications, methods and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication with supervisors and subcontractors; ability to report.
• Proficient with MS Office and construction-related software.

Responsibilities

• Mentors and leads inspections and orientations, identifying hazards and corrections; leads by example for health and safety practices.
• Coordinates with the superintendent on workforce planning.
• Maintains project documents and supports engineers and superintendents to lead RFIs, shop drawings, changes, and billings.
• Supervises self-perform scopes, labor tracking, and quantity tracking for Labor Cost Reports (LCRs).
• Mentors and coaches field engineers and students/interns.
