Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to support the project team on commercial, institutional, and government work in the DMV. You will supervise on-site activities, monitor safety, manage materials and tools, and coordinate with the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.

You will assist with subcontractor coordination, look-ahead scheduling, and daily reporting, while upholding quality control processes to keep projects on time and within budget. Norfolk, VA area.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site activities under the Field Engineer scope.
• Support the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent with project coordination.
• Ensure safety, coordinate site activities, and manage tools within assigned area.
