Job summary

Terracon is seeking an engineer-in-training to provide engineering and consulting services across a broad range of projects in Oklahoma City. The role includes field investigations, engineering analysis, design of plans and specifications, and preparation of reports under supervision.

Essential activities include safety compliance, quality assurance, and development of professional skills while supporting proposals, budgets, and project progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Understand and practice quality acumen.
• Support consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery.
• Developing engineering professional; assignments are designed to develop knowledge and abilities.
• Assist in research, data collection, field observation, inspection, and field and laboratory testing; prepare associated reports.
• Evaluate routine lab and field data for inclusion in reports.
• Consult with other technical people and supervisor on routine projects.
• May perform basic calculations and engineering analysis.
• Draft routine proposals and assist in preparation of more complex proposals.
• Performs plan drafting using CAD software.
• May work with engineering technician crews on project sites and prepare daily reports documenting activities.
