Job summary

The Falcon Group in Farmington, CT is seeking a Field Engineer / Project Manager to lead site inspections, manage project milestones, and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in architectural/engineering consulting or construction, and travel flexibility. A PE license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or relevant work experience.
• A minimum of five+ years of experience in an architectural/engineering firm or construction industry.
• Professional Engineering license preferred; OSHA-10 preferred; US Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage internal kickoff, milestone, and closeout meetings for projects.
• Verify schedules and adherence to project plans and timelines with internal and external resources.
• Conduct on-site inspections, document conditions, perform field testing, and sketch as needed.
• Prepare written correspondence and translate drawings/ specs to actionable work.
• Review change orders and payment applications for scope, schedule, and budget impact.
