Job summary

Hoar Construction, LLC is seeking a Field Engineer to support project delivery and administration, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents. The role involves coordinating document control, RFIs, submittals, and meeting logistics while maintaining current construction documentation and insurance records.

Travel up to 25% may be required. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 0–2 years of construction experience, and basic MEP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in building sciences, construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of construction experience or a construction graduate.
• Basic knowledge of MEP.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid driver's license required.
• LEED AP and OSHA 10 Hour a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compilation of project close-out/operation manuals for delivery to owner.
• Coordinate document control and update Procore with RFIs, submittals and drawing logs.
• Support process improvement and staff training.
• Develop industry relationships and expand networks for future opportunities.
• Maintain contract document log and update current information.
• Attend project meetings and ensure agendas/minutes are produced and distributed.
• Ensure bid documents are sent to bidders and manage bid rooms and bidders list.
• Maintain current construction documents and insurance records.
• Assist with pay requests, change orders, RFIs, submittals, contracts and purchase orders.
