Job summary

Roxtec Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to provide onsite and remote technical support at customer sites and construction projects. You will bridge field conditions with certified system performance, applying engineering judgment and feeding insights back into testing and product development.

You will review drawings, assist with installations, ensure code compliance, and collaborate across Sales, Test & Certification, Product, and Operations. Travel up to 66% is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple field support requests and projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and follow up on technical requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of installation or environmental issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings, specs, and codes/standards and assess field conditions against tested configurations.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote engineering support to customers, sales teams, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate installation conditions and configurations for suitability relative to tested products.
• Troubleshoot field issues by identifying root causes and proposing fixes.
• Assess applications outside standard details and escalate when needed for formal evaluation.
• Document field observations, prepare site reports and ensure accuracy of records.
• Review project drawings and specs to ensure alignment with codes and tested configurations.
• Support Test & Certification activities to maintain compliance.
