Job summary

ENTACT is seeking a Field Engineer to support environmental, civil, and geotechnical projects in the Houston area. You will coordinate on-site activities, manage documentation, and help ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of project milestones.

The role requires a civil engineering background, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble, and strong teamwork with solid communication skills. Travel to project sites is expected and a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
• Team players with the ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Design, planning and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete work in accordance with ENTACT safety policy and procedure.
• Coordinate on-site procurement activities including material requisitions and tracking deliveries.
• Prepare project documentation such as daily/weekly reports, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Track schedules, ensure contract compliance and support project managers to deliver on time and within budget.
• Create accurate construction figures and surfaces using engineering sketches and field measurements with AutoCAD.
