Job summary

ENTACT is seeking a Field Engineer to work with management and safety teams on environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction projects. You will handle quality control, surveying, reporting, and KPI tracking, with travel to project sites as needed.

HAZWOPER training is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing project needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site procurement activities, including material requisitions and tracking deliveries.
• Prepare and process project documentation: daily/weekly reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Track schedules, ensure contract compliance, and support project managers to deliver on time and budget.
• Develop construction figures and surfaces from drawings using AutoCAD.
• Oversee subcontractor billings and financial reporting to the Project Manager.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders through closeout.
• Ensure activities conform to approved drawings and specifications.
