Job summary

Rural Electric Inc. is seeking a Project Field Engineer to support the Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Engineer on assigned projects. You will ensure installations are safe, meet standards, and completed on schedule. Travel is possible, with focus on site supervision and coordination.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering/Construction background, strong safety awareness, and excellent communication to collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, sciences, or related.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect on-site work to ensure safety and standards.
• Coordinate with project team and subcontractors.
• Prepare work plans, work packages, and other documentation.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, and report issues to management.
• Assist in cost control and scheduling.
