Job summary

IPT Global is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations at client work sites, including offshore locations. The role involves coordinating well control equipment and testing operations, supporting installations, and ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery across diverse field environments.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, be able to travel offshore up to 75%, and possess strong communication and safety-focused skills to work with clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Ability and willingness to receive the yellow fever vaccination.
• Ability to maintain safety and training certifications for field responsibilities.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Ability to travel offshore by helicopter and boat.
• Ability to obtain TWIC and HUET/BOSIET certifications.
• Ability to pass medical examinations for offshore work.
• Willingness to travel on short notice worldwide for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a safety leader on client sites and participate in field safety programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage well control equipment and barrier testing operations.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors to streamline testing operations.
• Document testing processes for surface and subsea operations.
• Create BSD files and wellbore schematics and test plans.
• Plan equipment and network installations across field environments.
• Troubleshoot basic offshore network issues and escalate as needed.
• Deliver high-quality service following established procedures.
• Understand client needs and identify opportunities to improve support.
