Job summary

Kiewit Mining Group is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support mining operations across North America. This role involves developing work plans, design work, quantity tracking, surveying, and collaboration with mining and construction teams to safely plan and execute projects.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations: prepare work plans and work packages, interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and craft, order and schedule material deliveries and support day-to-day operations.
• Office Engineering: perform mining and civil design work, takeoffs from drawings, generate change orders reviewed by Project Manager, provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations.
• Estimating: review data, complete plans and specification reviews, assist with bid preparation.
