This internship in the Seattle district offers hands-on experience on real projects and a clear path toward full-time roles. You will support Field Engineers, Project Managers and Superintendents, learn to read drawings, log RFIs, assist with surveying, and help with documentation while earning competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry.
• Willing to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Estimator.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver's license.
• Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations; able to navigate a construction site daily.
• Must be able to navigate through a construction site on a daily basis, climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be able to work around and near heavy equipment, cranes, and other construction equipment.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and/or Estimators with safety audits and quality audits.
• Read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Log submittals and process RFIs.
• Assist with surveying and project layout.
• Maintain and update field drawings, field equipment and records.
• Assist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
• Attend relevant project meetings.
• Prepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents.
• Assist with project documentation requirements.
• Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
