Job summary

Blach Construction Company is seeking an Entry-Level Field Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Northern California. You will assist the Superintendent and project team with planning, scheduling, safety, quality control, and documentation while developing relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

You will help manage daily reports, schedules, QA/QC paperwork, and cost tracking, while learning project management software and industry best practices in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily reports.
• Review plans and specs; coordinate between design disciplines.
• Develop, track, and maintain the job schedule and labor requirements.
• Review estimates and subcontractor scopes.
• Identify long lead items and safety requirements.
• Maintain as-built drawings and documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate subs; manage RFI development.
• Monitor schedule and cost progress and report findings.
