Job summary

FlatironDragados is offering a Field Engineer Intern position in Arizona to help students apply their civil engineering or construction management training on real projects. You will work with the project manager and on-site team to interpret plans, support scheduling, and assist with design clarifications.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an engineering or CM program, with strong survey, CAD, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or similar program at an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field conditions evaluation and acceptance testing.
• Support QA/QC engineering materials testing.
• Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking conformance with plans.
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
• Provide document control assistance for correspondence and submittals.
• Initiate engineering design clarifications.
• Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis.
• Assist with updating project schedules and coordination with scheduling decisions.
• Respond to field design clarifications and manage subcontractors' field operations.
