Baker Hughes is offering a 2027 University Internship in Field Engineering to students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. You will gain hands-on experience, work on projects, and present results, with mentorship and buddy support throughout the program.

Interns will collaborate with seasoned engineers on field operations, collect data, and ensure safety and HS&E standards. Relocation may be required, with an hourly rate ranging from $22 to $44.

Qualifications

• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Mechanical or other STEM fields.
• Maintain GPA >= 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on field operations such as drilling, well testing, or equipment maintenance.
• Collect and analyze field data to identify trends or issues; troubleshoot related to field operations and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Keep detailed records and documentation of field activities, inspections, and safety measures for compliance and reference.
