Job summary

Kiewit offers a hands-on internship in construction management. You will participate in field engineering, operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, and more while gaining real-world experience on major transportation projects.

Current undergraduate or graduate students in civil engineering, construction management or related fields are encouraged to apply. You should be willing to travel/relocate as needed and commit to the summer schedule (May–August).

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and tracking of quantities.
• Support procurement, inspections, and coordination with suppliers.
• Maintain records of progress, costs, and materials.
• Assist with planning and scheduling of job segments.
• Analyze problems and propose practical solutions on-site.
• Review plans to determine material needs and pricing.
• Coordinate expediting delivery of materials with suppliers.
