Job summary

Nox Group in the United States invites students to join its Internship Program as Field Engineer Interns. Over 12 weeks, you will rotate through Preconstruction/Estimating, Industrial, and Manufacturing with guidance from senior project managers.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project engineers, surveying, quality control, documenting drawings, and supporting field operations. This paid internship offers hands-on experience on real projects and exposure to safety and project meetings.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be currently enrolled in a four-year Construction Management or Engineering program.
• Ability to assume responsibility, interface and effectively communicate with others
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Positive and teachable attitude

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Engineers and Field Superintendents to support field operations.
• Survey and layout work to ensure accurate installations and guide materials/equipment placement.
• Actively participate in quality control programs and ensure work meets standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly project meetings to stay updated and coordinate activities.
• Ensure access to up-to-date contract documents, drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Report field issues promptly to keep project on track.
• Track quantities of installed materials and equipment weekly for cost control and progress.
