Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is offering an internship program designed to provide hands-on support across Safety, Survey/Estimating, Project Supervision, and Field Engineering. This 12-week program exposes interns to multiple Heavy Civil, Waterworks, Infrastructure Management, and Energy divisions.

You will work under supervision to gain practical experience in a fast-growing infrastructure environment. The internship emphasizes safety, surveying, and project execution, with opportunities for

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Science/Management, or related 4-year degree program.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic BIM tooling.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO).
  • Know and apply necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for jobsite activities.
  • Observe and prevent safety incidents.
  • Conduct jobsite audits.
  • Learn how to interpret plans and set layouts.
  • Understand how to survey for quantities.
  • Gain knowledge in conversions and accurate surveying practice.
  • Assess man-hours, time and materials needed for production.
  • Communicate and delegate work plans to field crews.
