CES Consultants, Inc. in New York seeks a Junior Field Engineer/Inspector to support a NYC DEP Job Order Contract across Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.

This full-time, 12-month role provides inspection services for wastewater facilities, pump stations, and CSO sites, serving as liaison between contractors and facility stakeholders. You will supervise field activities, review submittals, ensure safety/compliance, track progress, prepare daily reports, and assist with payments and close-out

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3–5 years of relevant experience in restoration/rehabilitation.
• Associate’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with NYCDEP/NYCDDC/NYCDOT standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related tools.
• Experience managing NYC government projects and Job Order Contracts.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day field supervision on JOCs in NYC.
• Provide full-time inspection across mechanical, structural, HVAC, and electrical trades.
• Attend scope, pre-construction, and kick-off meetings.
• Ensure Site-Specific Safety Work Plans align with DEP EH&S.
• Monitor progress and initiate corrective actions for delays.
• Prepare daily field reports and facilitate close-out documentation.
• Assist in processing partial and final payments.
