Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Field Engineer II to provide mid‑level technical support for electro‑optical, RF, radar, sensor, and power platform systems. You will troubleshoot, integrate, and evaluate surveillance technologies in collaboration with cross‑functional teams and vendors.

The position emphasizes system readiness, data analysis, and documentation, with opportunities to influence RMAs, FAT/V‑FAT events, and lifecycle assessments. Travel to field sites may be required.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, configure, and update RF, EO/IR, radar, tactical cameras, and ground‑based sensor systems
• Support integration, testing, and field evaluations of surveillance and sensor platforms
• Perform data analysis, firmware updates, and system‑level diagnostics
• Maintain configuration baselines, documentation, and operational procedures
• Coordinate with vendors for RMAs, FAT/V‑FAT events, and technical support
• Evaluate solar and battery systems, including performance and lifecycle analysis
• Perform hardware/software, EMI/EMC, and power systems testing
