Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a dynamic Field Engineer II to join our construction team. This role coordinates field activities, supports project tasks, and helps ensure safety and quality on site.

The candidate should have at least one year in construction and will work across disciplines with limited direct manual labor. The Field Engineer II will lead teams, make on-site decisions, and assist Project Management, Estimating and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years prior relevant experience.
• Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities and supervise teams while avoiding manual labor.

The Field Engineer II has completed at least one year working in the construction industry. He/she will be familiar with a variety of construction disciplines such as Safety, Estimating, Project Management and Operations. The Field Engineer will be given responsibilities and decision-making authority. He/she will not be required to perform manual labor in this position but will actively and independently manage those who do.
