Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to contribute to heavy civil construction projects across the United States. You will assist field crews, interpret drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and support safety and scheduling on diverse projects from water treatment to transportation.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related engineering field, strong work ethic, and willingness to relocate and travel as needed. Base compensation is competitive with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to cities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and prepare work plans and packages.
• Assist in field surveying, as-built data, and daily labor timesheets.
• Support JHA preparations and safety reviews.
• Enter data into cost systems and assist in change orders.
