Job Overview:

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking Field Engineers for immediate and 2025 start dates. This site-based role involves managing daily project operations under supervision, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and cost control. Responsibilities include supporting engineering review, procurement, construction, start-up of electrical systems, and assisting with QA/QC, scheduling, and owner communications. The role also involves supervising craft personnel and subcontractors to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily production and costs, prepare and review reports for planning.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers; maintain professional relationships.
  • Understand contractual documents for billing and reconciliation.
  • Manage project equipment and materials inventory.
  • Ensure safety compliance and assist with risk management and safety documentation.
  • Familiarize with project documents, assist with quality management, and prepare documentation for project closeout.
  • Participate in meetings, document notes, and generate reports.
  • Coordinate permits, utility interactions, and land agreements.
  • Verify daily reports from foremen and subcontractors.
  • Analyze field data, conduct project kick-offs and closeouts, and manage RFIs and submittals.
  • Assist with document control, work plan preparation, and equipment management.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Effective communication and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to relocate to project site for durations of 6-18 months.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Environmental Responsibilities:

Ensure environmental compliance, train staff, monitor site conditions, and collaborate with environmental representatives to meet regulations and minimize costs.
