Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer 1 to support road system design, navigation mapping, and on-site deployment in New Bremen, OH. The role requires travel over 20% and occasional overnight stays, with responsibilities spanning survey, data integration, testing, and documentation.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or significant related experience, and be capable of driving a lift truck and a personal vehicle for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience plus high school/GED.
Extensive travel and overnight stays are expected.
Must be able to drive a lift truck and a personal vehicle for company business.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver road systems including CAD files; support site surveys and data integration.
Assist in onsite map gathering and validate navigational maps for production use.
Provide second-level troubleshooting and support for project teams and customers.
Participate in system and acceptance testing; document results and issues.
Document all work related to the solution for Field Engineer reviews.
