Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking an entry-level engineer to design and deliver automated road systems at customer sites. You will build CAD models, participate in surveys, and collaborate with software engineers to ensure correct blocking, navigation, and prioritization.

The role involves extensive travel and onsite map testing, with opportunities to contribute to project documentation, testing, and acceptance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Less than 2 years related experience; or 12+ years with high school/ GED.
• Willingness to travel extensively and to drive a lift truck.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver road system concepts; create CAD drawings for review.
• Support site surveys, collect data, and validate road system blocks and priorities.
• Assist in onsite navigation map collection and testing with Field Engineer II.
• Participate in project meetings, analyze data, and provide second-level troubleshooting.
• Document all work and support system and acceptance testing activities.
