JT4, LLC in Edwards AFB area is seeking a Field Engineer I to perform entry-level engineering tasks in installation, operation, testing and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems. This role works under close supervision as part of a project team, conducting fundamental analyses, tolerances, and design calculations, while ensuring safety and compliance.
A valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain security clearance are required.
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
Under close supervision, a Field Engineer I performs a variety of fundamental field engineering tasks in the installation, operations, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems. Work is at an entry level and is generally performed as a member of a project team.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
An associate's degree in engineering or formal academic/vocational training, or military equivalent and four (4) or more years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this position.
In addition, a Field Engineer I must possess the following qualifications:
The expected salary range for this position is $78,220 to $90,000 annually.

Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting while using a computer terminal; constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents; constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication; and constant mental alertness are required.
Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
