Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• P.E. license required by time of employment or within 90 days (Engineer I).
• FE exam within one year of employment for Engineer track; EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments supporting heavy highway construction projects.
• Apply engineering and construction management principles to real-world projects.
• Coordinate and supervise construction inspection and surveying activities; interpret plans and specs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Engineering discipline)

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) or EIT certification
