Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation, a recognized leader in heavy civil construction, seeks a Field Engineer to support on-site project execution, review plans, manage schedules, and supervise daily field activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.

You will coordinate subcontractors, prepare cost reporting, assist in budget planning, and contribute to CPM scheduling and close-out activities, while upholding the company’s Safety First culture.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent.
• Preferred 2+ years' field experience on heavy civil projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and BlueBeam.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project execution by coordinating schedules and field activities.
• Promote Safety Policies and procedures on site and uphold core value Safety First.
• Develop and manage CPM schedule and project narratives; assist in cost reporting.
• Assist in budget, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and material planning.
• Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers to meet safety and quality standards.
• Prepare accurate cost reporting, revenue, and cash-flow projections.
