Job summary

DN LLC is seeking a Field Engineer to support project managers on heavy-civil construction sites across the United States. You will help manage actions across all construction phases and demonstrate strong multitasking abilities.

You should have a proven track record in Project Engineering in heavy-civil construction, with a willingness to travel to project sites and collaborate with a world-class team on meaningful projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interaction.
• Intermediate to advanced skills required in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using AutoCAD (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing and manage relationships.
• Use AutoCAD for casting bed and crane layout; assess site conditions for equipment usage.
• Contribute to pre-project inspections, estimates and post-construction reviews.
• End-to-end concrete procurement, QC, and post-project analysis.
• Coordinate material submittals, approvals and lead times with the Project Coordinator.
• Manage subcontractors to align with schedule and quality.
• Coordinate crane operations and communicate with the superintendent.
• Travel to project sites for preconstruction meetings and safety inspections.
• Track costs: budgeting, invoicing and monthly billings.
• Support closeout meetings and project handover.
