Job summary

Leidos Defense Group seeks a Field Engineer for Huntsville, AL, with mandatory readiness for GCC deployment. The role includes hands‑on training, maintenance support, and eventual on‑site operational deployment for 1 year or more.

You will work with GETS-1000 hardware and TPSs, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with fault isolation while coordinating with customer operators and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to relocate to GCC countries for at least one year.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
• Ability to meet U.S. Government Security Clearance requirements.
• Legal eligibility to obtain work visa in GCC countries.

Responsibilities

• Complete Huntsville training (4–6 months) and assist with system evaluations and depot maintenance.
• Provide interim maintenance and deployment support at Huntsville as needed.
• Deploy for minimum of one year to a GCC country to support operations.
