Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking entry to mid-level Field/Office Engineers to support complex geotechnical projects across North America. You will work in both field and estimating tasks across underground and foundation projects, with opportunities for travel and advancement.

Ideal candidates pursue Civil, Geotechnical, or Construction Management degrees, with a hands-on, safety-minded approach and willingness to relocate as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in Deep Foundations/Heavy Civil construction preferred.
• Willingness to relocate throughout career.
• Knowledge and passion for construction safety; OSHA certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Assist in preparing work plans and work packages.
• Support field surveying, layout, and as-built data collection.
• Assist in daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
• Participate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on site.
• Supervise field operations with accountability for quality and schedule.
