Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is seeking a field-oriented professional to support preconstruction and construction activities across our New England operations. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.

You will gain hands-on experience on rock anchors, soil nails, and related systems while traveling regionally to support field operations and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and field teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and travel as required.
• Commitment to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction and construction activities with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Frequent site visits to verify plans meet specifications and progress.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress submittals for billing and tracking.
• Learn operations hands-on, including load tests on anchors and support elements.
• Review field documentation for accuracy and completeness.
