Job summary

Trofholz Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Engineer – Electronic Security Systems to own field operations, lead installation teams, and support the successful delivery of mission-critical security projects.

In this hands-on role you will install, program, test, and troubleshoot Integrated Electronic Security Systems (IESS), including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection, with up to 50% regional travel and OSHA 30 compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years ESS / low-voltage experience
3+ years leading installations
Experience delivering $100K+ low-voltage projects
Willingness to travel up to 50% regionally
OSHA 30 certification
Ability to obtain government clearance

Responsibilities

Understand project scope, drawings, specifications, and requirements and ensure field work is completed accordingly.
Lead day-to-day field operations and installation crews at assigned project sites.
Perform and oversee the installation and programming of low‑voltage and electronic security systems.
Support Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, structured cabling, and related security infrastructure.
Coordinate daily schedules, field activities, equipment, and material needs with the Project Manager.
Ensure the project site has the tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete scheduled work.
Track project progress and communicate status, milestones, schedule impacts, and field issues to Project Management.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
