Job summary

TMEIC Corporation Americas in Roanoke, Virginia, seeks a Technical Advisory Services engineer to coordinate installation and commissioning of AC/DC drive systems and control software. You will perform tune-ups, troubleshoot complex control systems, and train client personnel, ensuring projects meet schedules and performance criteria.

You will design and test system software/hardware, gather project requirements, provide status reports, and lead client witness tests while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Projects or coursework in electrical power systems, control theory, or robotics.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Commission AC and DC drive systems and control software to meet design performance criteria.
• Tune up closed loop regulators for optimal equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot complex control systems and correct performance problems.
• Design, configure, and test system software and hardware to meet contractual requirements.
• Provide commissioning status reports to stakeholders.
