Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience with supplemental education or EIT
• Valid California Driver's License
• Ability to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights, weekends, and overtime

Responsibilities

• Recommend and approve changes in construction drawings or specifications.
• Solve simple and complex engineering problems.
• Layout construction plans.
• May supervise assistants on large projects.
• Direct activities of crews with engineering expertise.
• Audit work for construction standards and regulations.
• Develop timelines and milestones; forecast schedules.
• Support supervising staff with technical and engineering input.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance.
• Supervise foreman and field personnel
