Job summary

The candidate will help plan and support heavy industrial construction, develop proposals/drawings, and work with subcontractors and vendors while maintaining strong owner relations. Growth and professional development are a focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of field engineering or similar experience are needed.
• DOE project experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with construction software such as P6/Bluebeam; CAD ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial construction with the team.
• Support administrative and construction activities; develop proposals, specs, drawings, takeoffs, cost estimates, and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Prepare work plans, ensure quality control, track costs/materials, and manage equipment scheduling.
• Assist interpretation of drawings/specs for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations from measurements and completed work percentages.
