Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Field Engineer to support projects on-site, working at jobsites with an engineering team lead. The role focuses on providing technical engineering design, consultation, and assistance to customers while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project design intent.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers, review submittals, RFIs, and coordinate with various trades.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical/architectural/construction sciences or equivalent experience.
Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee or collaborate with Designers assigned to your work or team.
Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
Review, comment, and process project RFIs.
Assist senior engineers with field observations, design interpretations, and design updates during construction.
Assist on site field and project management team and develop skills pertaining to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
Coordinate with project specifications or equipment buy-out.
Develop or update power single-line diagrams for the specific projects assigned.
Review short circuit studies and verify over current protection device settings in the field.
