Mortenson is seeking a Field Engineer in Phoenix to participate in active project management, problem solve, and apply construction management techniques. You will support pre-construction, manage submittals, RFIs, and coordinate with design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Prior experience on construction job sites preferred.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Proficient with construction management tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-construction support and coordinating documentation.
• Manage submittal and RFI processes and related closures.
• Evaluate and distribute project design and engineering docs.
• Prepare site mobilization and turnover binders.
• Draft subcontracts and purchase agreements; coordinate with vendors.
• Oversee QA/QC per Project Quality Plan and manage inventory.
• Coordinate DFW prep meetings, inspections, and punch lists.
