Job summary

McGough is seeking a Field Engineer to assist the onsite Superintendent and Foreman on diverse construction projects. The role focuses on learning foundational building construction principles and creating a path toward Field Operations or Project Management.

Strong collaboration and communication are essential as you coordinate with managers, clients and vendors. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or have relevant experience, with preferred Bachelor’s in Construction Management and OSHA

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of relevant professional experience.
• Some internship, education or field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity tracking and verification.
• Track and monitor material inventory on the project site.
• Support building layout and survey activities.
• Assist with organization, storage, and maintenance of tools.
• Verify embeds and other constructability-related items.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries.
• Assist in preparing RFIs.
• Support subcontractor coordination and management.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings.
• Assist with document control and maintain as-built documentation.
• Conduct site safety audits and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily logs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs.
