Job summary

JHL Constructors is seeking a Field Engineer to support the field management team with document control, change management, scheduling, quality control, safety, and stormwater management on a construction project.

The successful candidate will coordinate with the Superintendent and Project Management team, manage material deliveries, track progress, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of contract documents and changes during pre-construction and construction.
• Ability to post revisions to as-built docs and manage subcontractor field red-lines.
• Maintain document control logs including submittals, RFI, ASI, change management.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specs for field crews and supervision.
• Review submittals against contract documents.
• Prepare, review, and distribute RFIs; verify questions aren’t in contract docs.
