Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Entry-Level Field Operations Assistant to support the project team. You will help obtain, evaluate, and coordinate information to meet contract documents and ensure safety, schedule, and quality standards.

Reports to the Project Superintendent. Duties include assisting with line and grade work, site safety, document control, daily reports, drawings coordination, and contributing to as-builts.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education in Engineering, Construction, or related field.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist field operations in obtaining and coordinating information for construction.
• Perform line and grade work for layout as required.
• Support in site safety program implementation.
• Assist in maintaining contract and electronic documents.
• Prepare Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
• Review drawings and shop drawings for coordination.
• Support in preparing as-builts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
