Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a capable construction coordinator to support day-to-day field operations and ensure work is executed per plans and specifications at our San Juan projects. This role emphasizes teamwork and a results-driven approach on a dynamic site.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline, at least one year of construction experience, and a high level of English.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day field operations and construction activities.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and crews to ensure work is executed per plans and specifications.
  • Track and report daily quantities installed and performed.
  • Maintain daily field records, including labor, equipment, and production.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of Work Plans.
  • Support quality control inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Identify field issues and escalate as needed; ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Job Description:
  • Position Summary

  • Support day-to-day field operations and construction activities.

  • Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and crews to ensure work is executed per plans and specifications.

  • Track and report daily quantities installed and performed.

  • Maintain daily field records, including labor, equipment, and production.

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of Work Plans.

  • Support quality control inspections, testing, and documentation.

  • Identify field issues, constructability concerns, and discrepancies, escalating as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in construction

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline

  • High level of English (written and spoken)

  • A demonstrated ability to multitask, be a self-starter, and have a passion for construction and a job well done
