The Field Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. This position supports concrete construction projects by coordinating field activities, verifying dimensions, elevations, and tolerances, and assisting with layout and quality control. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting site issues, providing technical support to crews, monitoring progress against plans and schedules, and documenting work performed. The Field Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, forepersons, and subcontractors to ensure safety standards, specifications, and timelines are met. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, participating in site meetings, and helping implement project plans and changes. The Field Engineer will demonstrate competency in the following areas in order to perform the role safely, productively, and effectively.
